Dorothy 'Dot'FERNFERN Dorothy 'Dot' (nee Flatt) Passed away peacefully at The Florence Nightingale Hospital, Derby on Sunday 8th February 2026 aged 94 years.

Beloved wife of the late Ray (George), a dear friend to many and was loved by all.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday 18th March at 3.15pm in The Willow Chapel, Bretby Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for Derby and Burton Hospitals Foundation (Ward 2, Florence Nightingale Hospital, Derby) may be placed in the collection box at the service or online - https://dorothyfern.muchloved.com/

Dorothy and Ray were part of my childhood. They lived next to my nanny Bagworth. I would see them often growing up and loved seeing their cats. I remember going to see them at Christmas. They never forgot myself and my brother. RIP Dorothy x

Dorothy has known me for my entire life and I will miss her very much.
She had an amazing memory right until her passing, and was able to answer many questions I had relating to my life and family.
You are at peace with Ray now.
