John RobertHOLMESOn November 25th, peacefully in hospital, John, aged 86 years, of Stockton.

Much loved husband of the late Barbara. Loving Dad of Paul, dear Father in law of Louise, cherished Grandad of Lauren and Katie.

Service to take place in the Maplewood Chapel, Stockton Crematorium on Tuesday December 9th at 1.00pm. Friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel.

No flowers please. Any donations in lieu to Cancer Research UK, a donation box will be available at the Crematorium Chapel.

I have known John for over 60 years through my friendship with Paul and was always made welcome in their home and greeted with that lovely smile. When I ventured into athletics John encouraged me and helped me to be more confident. He was a fantastic man who would help anyone and the world is a sadder place without him.
