MariaJOYCEIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Joyce née Strecker on Sunday 8th March 2026 aged 98 years, formerly Bath Reference Librarian at Queen Square.

Beloved wife of the late Noel Joyce. Maria will be deeply missed by her family in Germany and the United Kingdom and her many friends in Bath and internationally.

A service of Thanksgiving will be held at St Thomas à Becket Church, Widcombe on Saturday 18th April 2026 at 10am, followed by a private interment.
