I am so sorry to hear of your passing.  Some of my best memories are of those nights when it was just the two of us - moments that, somehow, always turned into something special.

Everyone knew Martin, and everyone liked him. It’s no surprise - he had that rare gift of bringing people together and leaving them better for having spent time with him.

I will always smile when I think about the times we saw The Pogues together - twice! Nights full of music, drinks and laughs. You were never one to sit still for long, always out and about, always ready for whatever came next. Life was there to be lived, and you made sure you lived it.

But more than anything, it was your nature that stood out. You were genuinely happy-go-lucky, never one to carry a bad mood.

Although we didn’t see each other all the time, you were a true friend. And those memories - the laughter, the music, the moments - will stay with me always.

You will be missed more than words can say.

Saddened to read of your passing Martin. Our paths didn't cross much since leaving school but it was always good to share a few words when they did.
RIP Martin.

So sad to have heard the news of the passing of a true legend. Fondest memories of the "Wasters" and of our time as colleagues at Hyson Green. Bodie was the kindest person you could ever wish to meet, so laid back and such fun- we had a good laugh together every single working day.

Rest in peace "youth".
