Josie died peacefully at Mowbray Nursing Home in Malvern on 11th March 2026 aged 94 after a short illness.

Dearly loved Mum, Granny and great granny to Ann, James, Louise, Sophie & Sam.

Funeral will be held at The Vale Crematorium, Pershore, Worcester WR10 2QR on Thursday 9th April at 11.30am.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, for Derbyshire Children's holiday centre.

No black clothing.

Such a lovely lady. I remember making raspberry buns and playing with Ann’s dolls on so many occasions. The best babysitter who’d always make toast for our supper. Always writing in green pen and buying me my first bottle of perfume on my 10th birthday. Treasured memories of our lovely Aunty Josie.

To a lovely, caring friend and 'second Mum' to Diana and 'Aunty' to Suzannah (Suzie) and Timothy Brown. I had known Josie for over 70 years and she will be missed by me, very much.
