John WilliamREDFERNPassed away suddenly at home, on 20th June 2025, aged 78 years.

Much loved dad to Simon and Sarah. A very proud grandad and great-grandad. John will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Monday 14th July, service 12 noon at Bretby Crematorium, in the Cedar Room.

Family Flowers only please, donations in memory of John will benefit RSPB, and The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, and may be placed in the donation box at the service.

Hi Dad
Came today to see you and say my goodbyes. It was hard but I'm so glad I did. You looked so peaceful we will give you a proper tribute to you on Monday I promise and I will never ever forget you and you will always be in my heart.

I'll remember the sound of your laughter and the twinkle in your eyes, I will cherish these memories forever. Heaven is lucky to have you, I'm sure you have made friends already. I will miss you more than words will say .

Dad I really miss you and I wish that we had, had more time but I cherish the times we have had, we've had a right laugh and I'm so proud that you are my DAD I am missing you so much but someday we will meet again not too soon I hope but I'm always going to remember you
