Jemima (Ina) Harper, formerly of Wigtown, and Catherinefield Court, Dumfries.

Devoted Wife of 74 years to the late Hugh. Much loved Mum to Margaret, a loving Granny and treasured Great Granny.

Ina will be sorely missed by all of those who knew her.

A private Funeral Service will be held for Ina.

I have many good memories of Ina and Hugh, when I lived just down the road from them, in Wigtown, many years ago. They were good family friends and Ina used to come and do housework for my late Mum and Dad, for a time. I still remember her lovely baking. Such a lovely lady. I last saw her at my late Mum’s funeral, back in 2013. Sadly, I lost touch with her. It is good that she was blessed with such a long life, which I’m sure she lived to the full. I have the deepest sympathy for her family and all who were close to her. Heaven has gained another angel. God grant her peace.
