Chris & I worked together as colleagues in the eighties at the Steelworks where he was held in great respect. They were good days on which I often reflect with nostalgia and pleasure.

Rest in peace Mr D.
Already missing our Wednesday mornings. I’m remembering all the laughs and giggles we shared, and all the advice you gave me.
Thank you for the privilege of looking after you. Sleep easy my friend xx

Chris and I worked together on archaeological projects for more that 40 years and he made a real contribution to North Lincolnshire's heritage. Without his skill as a surveyor we'd never been able to find where we had left off digging in prevous years. Alway good humoured and helpful he was a great support to the North Lincolnshire Museum. A wise and valued friend and colleage. Dr Kevin Leahy, formally of North Lincolnshire Museum.
