On 12 October 2025, E. Iris J. Phillips passed away at her new home in Cardiff.

Beloved wife of the late Rev. J. Arwyn Phillips, formerly of Fron Olau, Grove Park, Cardigan. Devoted mother to Aled Wyn and Awen; respected mother-in-law to Emyr; and cherished Mamgu to Ianto, Mirain, Saran and their partners Bethan and Fin.

A public service will be held at Barry Crematorium on Thursday 13 November at 12 noon, followed by a celebration of her life at Capel Mair, Cardigan on Saturday 15 November at 12 noon.

In accordance with Iris' wishes, no black ties or floral tributes. Donations in memory of her late daughter-in-law, Meinir, are warmly welcomed in support of Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth: memoryfund.mariecurie.org.uk/in-memory/meinir-phillips
