DavidROPERPassed away suddenly on Friday 29th March 2024, aged 86 years.

Husband to Christine, beloved father to Stephen and grandad to Evie and Samuel.

A kind, wonderful man who will be very sadly missed by all his family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston-On-Trent on Thursday 2nd May at 10.30am.

Goodbye Dave, dear friend of my school and teenage years. We were such close companions. I recall how we would go for weekend walks with your faithful black whippet, in all weathers, snow, frost, rain or shine. It is a shame we lost touch when we went in to the army to do our National Service. I came out to New Zealand, but you would come into my thoughts from time to time. Your family is going to miss you, and I know how much they must have loved you. My heart goes out to them in their time of grief.
