Passed away peacefully at Agnes House Care Home on 20th October 2025, aged 90 years.

Gill's funeral service will take place at 10:30am on Wednesday 12th November 2025 at St Ursula's Chapel, Wyggestons, Hinckley Road, LE3 0UX.

Mrs Smith was such an influential headmistress at dovelands. Her love of music really influenced us, and several of my peers there (late 70's early 80's) have made careers in music, and caddied on sharing music with others. She was so friendly and approachable and helped us through some difficult times too.
