Goolam HoosainABEDPeacefully, after a short illness, on the 20th June 2026, Goolam aged 91 years.
Much loved Husband of the late Jean, loving Stepfather to Lynn and Greg, proud Grandad of Michael and Greg and a dear Brother, Uncle and Friend to many, here and in South Africa.
'A truly remarkable man, a gentleman in every sense of the word, who touched the lives of so many'

Funeral service to be held at Bilal Jamia Mosque, Bulwer Street, Rochdale, OL16 2EU on Tuesday 23rd June at 2.00pm followed by interment at Denehurst Cemetery. All are welcome to attend. A celebration of Goolam's life will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Goolam are being accepted for Springhill Hospice, all further enquiries to Bridgefold Funeral Service, Mill House, Mellor Street, Rochdale, Tel 01706 639941

To Lynn and Family
So very sorry to hear of Goolam's passing.
Having known him for the last 50 years as a colleague and friend.
He was a kind and gentle man coached who so many youngsters of Walshaw who went on for successful careers.
He will always be remembered in our family. R.I.P
