VivianneARMITAGEIn loving memory of Vivianne Armitage

Vivianne, of Treslothan near Camborne, Cornwall, previously of Toddington, Bedfordshire and of Ceauce, France, sadly passed away at home after a long and brave battle with Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD).

Vivianne enjoyed her painting, especially watercolours, also pottery, languages, visiting galleries, dining out, cruises and discovering new places as well as the organising and running of several activities. The farm in France with her animals - sheep, donkeys, and cats also kept her busy, Vivianne enjoyed life to the full and took great pleasure in helping others.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband David, her children David, Andrea and Stuart, and David's daughter Dawn. Vivianne was an adored grandmother to Oscar and Alex.

A Celebration of Vivianne's life will be held at Oakfield Gardens Crematorium, Steppingley, Bedfordshire on Thursday 23rd April at 1pm, followed by a gathering at Toddington village hall.
Traditional funeral attire is not required, but a splash of red would be appropriate in recognition of her time with the Red Hatters.

Those who are unable to attend in person, are invited to watch the ceremony via Webcast using the details below.

Family flowers only please, but donations in her memory will be to benefit either Parkinsons UK or PSP Association. Donations may be received by retiring collection, or sent to the Funeral Directors at the address below.

All enquiries to Funeral Director David Maddern of Cornwall Funeral Services, Higher Fore Street, Redruth, TR15 2AR.

So very sorry to hear that Viv had passed away. I remember her as a kind gentle person always ready to listen and great fun at our Red Hat lunches in times gone by. RIP Viv.

Viv and I first met at school when we were 11. Her nickname was Pip. We kept up our friendship throughout our schooldays and beyond with cards and letters. It was a joy to meet up with her and David at La Grande Basillaie when my husband Mike and I arrived with our touring caravan and spent a few nights with them at the start of our holidays in France. It was a great sadness to hear of her illness and decline. Since our last meeting in 2018, life has been challenging with Covid, and the grief of my Mike's death in 2022. I will always keep in my heart lovely memories of her

In loving memory of dear Viv. We first met at school when we were 11 and continued our friendship through the years, with greetings cards and letters. It was a joy to spend time with her and David at La Grande Basillaie when we arrived with our touring caravan to spend a few nights there. So very sad to hear of her passing. The photo shows the last time we met in 2018. Hard times since with Covid and my precious husband Mike's death. With love and sympathy, Margaret
