Alice AnnieASHTONAlice passed away after a short illness at Royal Blackburn Hospital on 4th July 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.
Alice was the matriarch of the family and was selfless to the end. Alice will always be remembered for her kindness, patience and brilliant sense of humour as well her love for a bargain.
Alice leaves behind her 4 sons, Neville, Karl, Craig and Gary as well as her daughter Sabina, also 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Alice was also a sister to Emily and Dorothy (dec), Aunty and good friend to many in Accrington and Sheffield.
Alice lived for her family, always prioritising them often to her own detriment but she would not have had it any other way. Alice’s pleasure came from spending time with her family, as well as her close friends, people watching and looking forward to holidays in the sunshine. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral service to take place at Antley Methodist Church on 17th July at 1.30pm with burial to follow at Dill Hall Lane Cemetery.
