Graham DerekATTERBY, passed away peacefully at home on the 1st of August 2026, aged 73 years. "A Scunthorpe lad born and bred."

Graham will be remembered for his warm character, his steady presence, and the way he cared for the people around him. He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa, his three children-Craig, Darren and Gemma-and his five grandchildren: Maisie Jane, Maisie Paige, Annaleese, Danny and Callie. He is also survived by his daughters-in-law Emily and Charlene, his son-in-law Dominic, brother-in-law to Tina and Scotty, cousin and best buds Nicky and Lynn.

Graham's family and community will also remember him through the many relationships he helped nurture and support, including his cousin Karen, a surrogate dad, grandad and mentor to others. Above all, he leaves a legacy of love and friendship that was shared freely.

Graham shared his love of football as a coach with his sons when they were young and was a mentor for their judo. He was a lifelong tenpin bowler from the age of 10 and shared that love with his daughter to the present day. He was a lifelong Manchester United and England supporter. To support his loves, we ask for red and white attire and Manchester United or England tops to represent him.

A service will be held at Woodlands Crematorium Chapel, Scunthorpe on Friday the 4th of September 2026 at 12:40, followed by a private family burial.

Following the service, all are invited to gather at Ashby Decoy Golf Club, Scunthorpe to celebrate Graham's life with a "proper send off."

Family flowers only please but donations would be gratefully accepted for "Jerry Green Dog Rescue" or "Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance" c/o

Graham was such a good friend, always fun, kind and caring. We were deeply saddened when we heard he had passed away. He will be greatly missed, many happy memories. Taken far too early, our heart goes out to Theresa and all the family -Alan (Holgate) and Amanda x

Very sorry to read this. Knew Graham from when he lived in Ashby and we were both at junior school. Lost touch as our lives moved on different paths but you do not forget old friends. Condolences to the family, friends and colleagues. God Bless and RIP Graham.
