Passed away peacefully on 10th February, surrounded by family, after a short illness whilst in the care of Glyn Thomas House Immingham.

Loving and devoted husband of the late Kathleen, much loved father of Stephen and Karen a dear father in law to Steve and Gill and much loved great grandad/ Grandad and uncle

Robert served in the Royal Navy and later became Chief Fire officer at British Tioxide. He spent many years helping his local community through The Annie Chapple Centre Cleethorpes

There will be no funeral service at Roberts request and a private family committal of his ashes will be held at a later date

Robert is now resting in the care of Near & Near Wellowgate Grimsby

So sorry to read of Bob's passing. I remember him well from the Annie Chapple Centre. We used to run a pre school there and Bob was the person we went to for anything to do with the centre. He was a lovely chap, friendly, funny, kind and helpful. My thoughts and condolences go to all Bob's family and friends. RIP

We were so saddened to hear of Uncle Bobs passing. We shall always remember his smile and his kindness. He touched the lives of so many with his continued service to others, even well into his retirement through his support of the Annie Chappell Centre. A true gentleman. Our loving thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time.
