SidneyBATESIt is with great sadness to announce that Sid aged 99¾ passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday 17th August whilst in the tender care of The Meadows Care Home. A much loved husband of Maureen for 72 years, a dear dad to Michael & Ali and Andrew & Sue, a treasured pops to Chris & Shell, Jamie, Annaliese & Jamie, a treasured grandad to Jake & Molly and Ben & Sam, a loving great-grandad to Brandon, Chloe, Keiron, Tyler, Freya and Orlah. Sid was also a dear brother, uncle, a good friend to many and will be missed by all.

A celebration of Sid's life will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 5th September at 11.15am.

By request family flowers only. Donations in memory of Sid can be made to the Curzon Centre, Coulbeck Drive Cleethorpes DN35 9HW.

A donation box will be available on the day.
