Passed away peacefully in Belle Vue Care Home after a short illness on 1st January 2026 aged 94 years. Margaret beloved wife of the late Walter, a loving mum of Ian also a dear mother in law of Terri, a special Auntie to Kathryn, Sarah and Martin and Grandma Margaret to Jack.

Funeral service to take place on Thursday 15th January, 3.00pm, at the West Road Crematorium.

Immediate family flowers only please. Any donations to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

All welcome following the service at the Millstone, South Gosforth, NE3 1QL for refreshments and an opportunity to continue sharing memories.

Margaret was a beautiful lady inside and out. She was at times humorous and could often come back with a statement that would totally surprise you. It was an absolute pleasure knowing her. RIP Margaret you will be missed. I hope you are kicking off your shoes and dancing with your family and friends up there. Love from Anita and Erol
