AlanBITHELLPeacefully after a short illness whilst at home, Alan, aged 64 years, of Newcastle.

Dearly loved husband of Julie, devoted dad, grandad, brother and uncle. Alan will be deeply missed by all his loving family and friends.

Funeral service at St Luke's Church, Silverdale on Tuesday 1st September 2026, at 12.45pm, followed by Interment at Silverdale Cemetery. Will relatives and friends please meet at the church.

Family flowers only please. Donations if preferred to Cancer Research UK c/o the family.

When I first met you was via Lloyd whether in person or phone your first words were rooooooaaaaaar I never knew why until now when I asked Lloyd he laughed and said the roooooaaaaar came with a forearm on people's necks it was a short sharp lesson 🤔🫣🤣 you even roared me in recovery a few years back thank God the forearm didn't come up but it did make me giggle and reassured your Julie you were absolutely fine after your procedure . Hubby speaks highly of you and talks about the school days and troubles you pair would get into.
