We were so saddened to hear of the loss of David. We first met him when he helped us take down a tree, we ended up having a whisky sitting on the logs together!
His smiling face and friendliness will be sorely missed. He was a charming man and well respected in the village.
Our condolences to Margaret and family x

We were so lucky to have known David as our neighbour and friend for over 20 years. Such a kind, generous and helpful man who was always there to lend a hand or tool or share his immense knowledge. Happy memories drinking wine with him and Margaret in their gazebo. Condolences to Margaret, Andrew and Brooke. Chris and Carla Nowell

David was an incredible person and his memories will forever be cherished and live through all the lives that he touched. With his warmth and kindness creating 35 years of welcoming friendship, first for me, then Natasha and finally Oliver and Daniella.
One of our favourite memories will always be a summer's day three years ago, when we played all types of games in the garden, laughed endlessly and explored his man cave. Like most memories, it was great in the moment, but means so much more than we realised at the time. We will always carry that memory with us and we will never forget the impact he had on our lives. Forever in our hearts.

Les has known David since he moved into the village and he used to go and help him with the milking. Me, since I came to live here and he was always a true gentleman who would always stop for a chat. It won't be the same not seeing him about.
Love and hugs to Margaret and Andrew x❤️
