Ivan was a lovely gentleman whom we got to know and love. It was a privilege to have known him.

We were sorry to hear about the passing of Ivan. He will be sadly missed by you all.

Ivan was one of the most perfect traditional gentlemen as I called him they don’t make them like him anymore! We used to sit for hours chatting away and putting the world to rights I will miss our chats very much! , we could laugh we would sit chuckling like school kids. Ivan had all the patience in the world and he gave such great advice with a sneaky joke along the way. I would arrive and he would always say are you having your jam tea! an unusual flavour I liked and kept a packet at his house for when I visited. He was looked upto by my son Brodey he would chat to Brodey about his planes and give him advice about school. He was the perfect gentleman! I hope your at peace and back with your darling wife Doreen you will be deeply missed by me and Brodey xx
