As the New Year approaches, my heart is still broken and missing you.
I knew that you had to go and are no longer here with me. I tried so hard to save you, in various different ways, and if tears and prayers could have healed you, you would still be here today.
However God had a different plan, and for this I must trust.
You’re now up above with all your heavenly family and free from all hurt and pain.
Mum is embracing you and your only son singing your favourite song. Your mum, dad and sister sit by your side and gently reminisce.
You fought so hard for so long and never once said “why me”.
Your bravery was remarkable, a testament to the kind wonderful man that I got to call dad.
Dad I’m so very proud of you, you are my hero through and through.
You lived a good life filled with much happiness. I’m so blessed and grateful for the time we spent together. I have 56 years of memories that I will carry in my heart forever.
You’re at peace now and surrounded by true love and light.
Till we meet again, all my love. Your only daughter.
