We will gather soon to honour the life and legacy of Alan Cassidy, a man who was not only my longtime best friend but a pillar of light in the lives of all who knew him.Alan possessed a rare and brilliant sense of humor that could brighten the darkest of days. His laughter was a gift he shared freely, bringing warmth and joy to every room he entered. Yet, beyond his wit, Alan was defined by his deeply caring nature and boundless generosity. He gave of himself without expectation, always prioritizing the needs of others and offering unwavering support to his family and friends. To have had Alan as my closest confidant for so many years was a profound privilege. While his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, the kindness he showed and the joy he created will remain with us forever. Rest in peace, Alan. Your memory will always be cherished. Fom Brian and Anne.
