The obituary notice of Bridget Fenella CHADDOCK

Such fond memories of Bridget when my children first went to Compton Dundon Primary school and in later years visited her at Castle house when my father was also there.

Bridget was the most beautiful, hospitable and generous lady who along with our Hanwell family created some of the most memorable and lasting family memories from my childhood.
Birthdays, New Years Eve and other occasions.
I was able to visit Bridget a few years back and took chocolates (way too many!) and her face lit up and she loved to here stories from times past.

I am probably the last person to have gone to her wedding to Mike and have vivid memories of the colour, the food and the noise of speeches and cheering. I would have been 4 or 5 and we drove home from Chipping Sodbury in the dark (a big thing!) Happy times.

I hope to share a beer at Sour Down later in the summer and again send my sympathy to you all. With love and sympathy, John
