Margaret HazelCONNOLLY(Ashington formerly of Sheffield)

Peacefully on the 24th December 2025 aged 81 years, dearly loved wife of the late Jim, much loved mum of James, Julie, Mary, and the late Teresa. Proud grandma of Roisin and Bethany and a dear sister of Vernon. She was also a dear mother-in-law and friend to many and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Please meet for requiem mass at St Aidan's R/C Church, Ashington on Thursday 22nd January at 10:00am, followed by a private cremation service.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to be collected for Children's Cancer North.

Following the service, all welcome to the Portland, Ashington for refreshments, where the family will join you after the private committal.

Margaret was a great neighbour to us for many years. She was kind funny and full of stories. We enjoyed many conversations with her over a cup of tea. She was like family.
