Our deepest condolences. Elaine would be missed. She was a wonderful person and it was a privilege to know her.

We were at university together. I remember her for her kindhearted friendship and sense of humour.

Thinking of Elaine she was wonderful and supported samaritans working with at risk people and giving support when needed to vulnerable adults and she was a huge role model to many

I met Elaine some years ago when we did our BA at Southampton Solent Uni, she was an inspiration and such a hard working lady. She was always fun and loved life and people and especially spending time in her amazing garden….. even with her banana tree.
She will be sadly missed by her friends and family.

I have not spoken to my cousin Elaine for many years but I remember how excited I was to be a very young bridesmaid at her wedding to Richard so long ago. I also remember her coming to my parents’ home for carol singing and bringing several of her children with her. Like her mother and my dear aunt, Doreen, she was happy, optimistic and compassionate.
