Uncle John, a man that’s been in our lives since day dot. An uncle that we could never replace. Despite being scared to ever come to your house due to the many dogs over the years, mainly vizla’s, you still knew how to make us feel safe and protected. I can’t thank you enough over the years of being an amazing special man that’s been part of the family. One thing I can say is you’ll never be forgotten. I’ll miss you so much, especially telling me to drive safe back home when you knew I had to go down those lanes. You are one in a million and always part of the Grundy clan ❤️

A wonderful uncle who always had time, a kind word and a smile for everyone he came across. We’ll treasure the memories that we made together over the years, including our many family trips to Newgale, Aberdovey and the like, with games of cricket aplenty (even with that dodgy knee of yours), fun had in the sea and the countless hot drinks brewed on the way back. Who could forget the many parties and Christmas get togethers we shared, the jokey presents were always a particular highlight.

Thank you for being John, you will be dearly missed. Sending our love to Sally, Martin, Amy, Joe and Tammy.

Love always
Ben, Olivia and Alex xxx
