Uncle Pete, what can be said about one of the most kind-hearted, gentle & courteous people I have ever met. If you look in a Thesaurus the words to describe a 'Gentleman', everyone is Pete to a T!! When I first started at t2, with Dave Clissett as my manager, I was introduced to Pete, from that day on he was always the friendliest face whenever I went in the office and always greeted me with big smile & a hello. You could never go in the office and not speak to Pete, he was always the smartest, well-dressed man and always happy to help support the 'new girl' with her random requests. The times we used to chuckle at the back of the room like naughty school kids with DC telling us off with Anna and Anthony Pine and Julie too. When I became a team leader and working from the office every day, I go to know Pete & Sharon a lot better and fondly remember myself & Lisa going to see him in his band in Barry. He thanked us for attending over the mic & we felt like really groupies. I became known to Pete as Aunt Bessie as we had a conversation about Yorkshire puddings one day and he couldn't believe I could actually make them, when I tagged him in a picture, explaining you cannot be from Yorkshire if you cannot make a good Yorkshire pudding, he said you shall for ever be known as Aunt Bessie! And he became Uncle Pete- always there to guide, support and offer a lending hand. Rest easy Uncle Pete, I have no doubt you are over the moon to have met Ozzy at the gates and will be already jamming together!! I am glad to hear I got to make you smile one last time. My heart breaks for you Sharon and Petes children, such a wonderful man taken far too soon.x x
