Sadly passed away peacefully after a short illness aged 79 years
A loving husband, Dad and Grandad

Funeral to be held on Thursday 21st August 2025 at Herne Bay Crematorium at 12 Noon
followed by a wake at the Malladian Room, Whitstable Castle, CT5 2BW

John was such a lovely genuine person who we knew through HPYC and then on the beach at Hampton. We remember well him crewing for Rod Mount. He would always have time for a chat and laugh. So pleased to have known him as a friend. And so sorry that we could not make the funeral. Condolences to Di and the family. Simon & Judith.

A true mate from school days. Lots of fun in the early years then started something together that has influenced my whole working life. Albeit in the countryside in Australia. Thank goodness for Whats-app so we could still see and talk to each other although 12,000 miles apart. Peter H
