John RooneyDOUGHTYIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Rooney Doughty, who passed away peacefully on 22nd December 2025, aged 88 years. John enjoyed a career as a teacher at Burnage High School and King's Macclesfield. He was also a Blue Badge Guide for Manchester.
John was a loving husband to Rhona, a devoted father to Peter and Ruth and a much-loved Grandpa to Briony, Mikey and Skye. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at Altrincham Crematorium, on Monday 19th January at 12:00 noon.
