Auntie Jean remains a strong, positive memory particularly from my adult years. She helped me get through a very scary year in my life. Despite living in another country she regularly checked in by phone as a caring matron would check in with her patients. She deciphered medical reports for me and helped to alleviate some of the stress leading up to a serious operation.I am forever grateful of the care she gave me. I am also happy that I was able to show that gratitude in person after a successful op, and be able to introduce her to our two kids when we visited her in in Canarfon. I am still chuckling now as I remember her secretly showing the kids where the 'goodie' drawer was in the kitchen. I couldnt believe she still had one! I remember the lure of the 'goodie drawer' from when I was a kid visiting Auntie Jean!! We cannot attend in person on the 11th to pay our respects however we are sending our love and condolences to Mike, Carol, Neelan and all the family from your cousin Charlotte, Mark, Evie and Ben. xxxx
