Michael MartinEVANSSuddenly passed away on 21st November 2025 at Morriston Hospital.

Beloved son of the late Beryl and Brinley, loving brother of Barbara, brother-in-law to Rob, dear uncle of Sian, Andrew, Richard and to all his great-nieces and nephews.

Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew, loved and respected him.

Funeral Monday 15th December where a service will be held at St. Peter's Parish Church, Cockett at 12:45pm followed by cremation at Llanelli Crematorium at 2:00pm.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Rookwood Spur (Spinal Injury Unit) via funeral-notices.co.uk or cheques maybe presented to Lee Davies of Phillip G. Davies & Son Independent Family Funeral Directors 2, Waunarlwydd Road Cockett, Swansea. SA2 OGB. Tel: (01792) 581924.

I was so very sad to hear that Mike " Spike " Evans had passed away so suddenly. He was a great character all round, and was always a joy to be around, and I have many happy memories of him, especially up at the Squash Club in Cwmdu ( see pictures below) for Years. I kept in touch on Facebook with him until he lost his battle for Life recently, and it always nice to hear from him, going to miss those chats...R.I.P. Mike " Spike " Evans

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing.
Last time I saw Mike was at Rookwood Rehabilitation centre recovering from surgery, hadn't spoken to him since we left school back in 1984. Was like we'd never gone our separate ways!
