Davy passed away peacefully at home on Boxing day aged 72 years surrounded by his loving family.

A beloved partner of Jackie, loving dad of Vickki and Danielle, dear father in law of Steven and Mackie, a dearest brother of Graham and the late Neil and a very good friend to many.

Would family and friends please meet for funeral service at the West Rd Crematorium on Friday January 16th at 2.45pm.
Casual attire and Toon shirts are most welcome in memory of Davy.

Family flowers only please donations in lieu to the ward 36 at the Freeman Hospital and the Pancreatic Cancer UK Charity.

All are welcome to the Heaton Buffs Club after the service to celebrate Davy"s life.

Gone too soon RIP uncle Davy. You were one of a kind and I will never forget the memories of growing up with you going on holiday, playing in your back garden countless summers. how you used to throw me around and play far too rough when I was a kid to toughen me up. You never forgot a birthday even as I became an adult… I will remember all the lads trips away and how you would make everyone laugh with your quick quips and comebacks, how anyone in a Sunderland shirt was in fear of you and how much Scottish football was s**te.
