CaroleFIGGPeacefully after a short illness at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on 4th February 2026, aged 82.

Beloved wife of the late James, devoted mother to Simon and Sally, and mother-in-law to Richard and Sarah. Cherished grandmother to Oliver, Louis, Grace, and Lily, and a dear friend to many.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday 12th March at 10:30am at Huddersfield Crematorium. All who knew Carole are welcome to attend this celebration of her life.

Family flowers only; in lieu of flowers, charitable donations in Carole's name will be made to The British Heart Foundation. A donation box will be available at the service.

Condolences from Neil, Michael Sykes and family. Carol was a very good friend of Neil and Margaret Sykes and also of James and will be sadly missed. Unfortunately we won’t be able to attend the funeral because I can’t get the time off work to bring my father but we will be thinking of Simon and Sally at this sad time.
