Mansel CharlesFINNIEARMansel peacefully passed away at home in Rhiwbina on Friday 12th December 2025, aged 95 years.

Cherished husband of the late Joan, beloved and treasured father of Martyn and Gareth, and grandfather to David. Much loved father-in-law to Michelle and Bev and brother to Shirley and the late Glenys and Leonard. Loved brother-in-law and uncle. Mansel was a well-respected gentleman, his working life was spent as the deputy public analyst for Mid and West Glamorgan retiring in 1984.

Afterwards his interests included his local church choir and the Glamorgan family history society as well as being an editor of the Journal of the Association of Public Analysts.

Mansel will be greatly missed by all his family and close friends.

Forever in our hearts and thoughts and finally reunited with Joan.

Family flowers only, donations if so desired in memory of Mansel direct to Cancer Research UK.

Resting at D Caesar Jones Funeral Home until the funeral service at 10am on Friday 16th January 2026 at Bethany Baptist Church Rhiwbina followed by a committal service at Thornhill Crematorium in the Briwnant Chapel at 11am.
