Denis NewtonFLINNDenis (Newton) Flinn, of Macclesfield, passed away, aged 92 on 15th December 2025, following a brief illness.
Denis was the beloved husband of the late Anthea, who died just six months earlier. He was the much loved father of Stephen, Jonathan, Julian and Sally and grandfather of Ellie, Megan, Joel and Rafferty. He will be hugely missed by all his family and friends, those he encountered as he strode across the fields and hills around Macclesfield, and musicians from the Orchestra's, ensembles and choirs of which he had been a proud member in Knutsford, Wilmslow and far beyond.
The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday 20th January 2026 with a celebration of his life at Macclesfield Crematorium at 12-15pm.
