Passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her devoted family on 2nd August 2026. Aged 80 years.
Devoted wife of the late Arnold. Beloved mam of Nigel, Sharon, Andrea and Nicola. Dear mother in law to Anest, Tony and Ian. Loving daughter of the late Harold and Joan Hughes. Fond twin sister to the late Glennys and sister to Sandra and the late Michael and Yvonne. Cherished nana of Stephanie, Natalie, Natasha, Sean, Sophie, Nathan, Niall, Ellie, Morgan, Mathew, Jac and their partners. Proud great-nana to Betsy, Noah, Polly, Lillie, Arnie and Jude. Shirley will be so dearly missed by all her family and friends.
Funeral service to be held at Bangor Crematorium on Tuesday 18th August 2026 at 10am.
Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Shirley will be gratefully received towards Alaw Day Unit.
