It always gives me so much joy to see what individual members of the u3a Art Club produce. I had no idea, until recently, Ron had created so many pictures. They include a wonderful collection of his lifetime memories of people and places. It is a pleasure to know he got so much from it and enjoyed making his mark.

His kind and friendly nature was a rare gift, and one which I will always remember. Ron was so well liked amongst his friends and fellow painters. A polite and gentle man we will all miss. May he rest in peace…

In memory of my darling dad Ron who I loved with all my heart and miss every second of each day . You were my hero ! Your laugh lit up the room and you had an amazing twinkle in your eyes. You loved my mum and us passionately and demonstrated every day how to live a good full life .
We will be forever grateful to Farleigh hospice who cared for you so kindly and with respect and gentleness in your last few days.

To my darling dad Ron . I love and miss you every second of every day . You were a brilliant father who cared passionately for my mum and us . You were my hero . You always had a plan which was well thought out and executed. Your laugh lit up the room and you had a glorious twinkle in your eyes. You were a fantastic role model for my boys and showed them how to live a good life with honesty and integrity.
In the last few days Farleigh hospice cared for you ( and us) brilliantly-with gentleness, compassion and dignity-we shall be forever grateful.

Donating in memory of my beloved grandad, Ron. The care he received at the hospice was exceptional and they treated him and my family with great kindness and compassion.

Grandad was an amazing man who achieved a great number of miraculous things with his life. He taught me and my brother the importance of hard work and taking opportunities when they arise. Throughout my entire life Grandad has been a role model of how to look after your loved ones and concentrate on what is important.

He has also left a great impression on my fiance, Amber, who enjoyed discussing books and music and great length.

He will be missed everyday and his lessons will stay with us all for the rest of our lives.
