Grandma,

The one person who set the standard for what love, kindness, and togetherness truly mean. You had a way of bringing people closer and making everyone feel cared for and at home. You had a warmth that made everything better and a presence that made me feel safe no matter what.

The values you lived by didn’t need to be spoken; they showed in everything you did and in the way you treated others. Every moment we spent together, meant the world to me. I will be eternally grateful that I was able to call you my Grandma.

What you have created in your family - this love, bond and kindness will always be your lasting legacy. It lives on in all of us, in the way we care for one another and in the standards you set without ever asking for anything in return.

You will always be a part of who I am, and I will carry you with me in everything I do. I’m so grateful for every moment we shared and I will miss you more than words can ever explain.

Until we meet again, good night and God bless.

I’m lost without you. You were my constant, my safe space and my home. Putting one foot in front of the other is a struggle and the pain is unbearable. You were the most incredible human that I am so proud and so grateful to call my Grandma and to have had in my life for so many years. I promise to take care of Grandad and I will carry you in my heart until we see eachother again! I hope so much that you were right and there is something after this life so I will see your face and feel the warmth of your hug again. All my love forever, Emma xxxx

My beautiful great grandma,

I don’t think I would’ve ever been prepared to lose you no matter the time we had. I am so so grateful to have had 20 years of cuddles, laughs and you scouring my hair for dickies anytime I’d lay my head on you, even as you got more poorly. You were always my safe place.

I miss you more than you’ll ever know, and I love you more than words can describe. Your love never failed to shine through each and every one of us, teaching us how to navigate life with all of your wisdom and comforting us at every obstacle we faced.

I still listen to all of your voicemails (half of them meant for auntie angie) just to hear your voice again. Hello Amelia it’s just me your pesky little gran you say, asking me to pop over and put some new earrings in for you or paint your nails the baby pink you liked. I wish I could do those little things for you forever.

I promise we will look after grandad and we will make you proud, as I know you’ll be watching.
I love you more than anything grandma,

Your Meela xx

Our beautiful Grandma, the words to explain just how much it hurts that your gone don’t exist, it’s a pain like no other, a huge part of me left when you did and I’m not sure that will ever come back.
I am so thankful to have had the most loving, kind and strong grandma who always did everything to make us feel heard and safe, no matter the problem knowing you were there offering a soft hand and precious hug made everything more bearable.
I miss your smile, your cheeky little giggle and the warm hugs that only you could give.
The memories we have together I will hold precious until we meet again, I will do all I can to be even a fraction of the woman, mother and grandmother you have been.
I can feel you with me, and I’m sure you will continue to guide us in your own little way 💖

What a little fighter you were and I will forever tell stories of you to anyone willing to listen, your memory will live on, we will make sure of it.
But now grandma, it’s time to rest easy, you fought more than your fair share of fights, your in the hands of the good lord now and those precious to you who were there waiting for you.

We love you millions and trillions and everything else in the whole wide world 💖
