Russell David StuartGILESSadly on 7th January 2026, whilst in the dedicated care of Ashlea Court, Waltham, Russell aged 76 years passed peacefully away, with his family by his side.

The devoted husband of Ann, beloved Dad of Simon & David, cherished Grandad of Holly, Joshua, Clark, the late Isla, Mollie & Charlotte.

Friends and neighbours are warmly invited to Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday 10th February 2026 at 9.45am for committal, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Scartho Methodist Chapel, Scartho at 10.30am.

Family flowers only please, by request. Donations in lieu of floral tributes to benefit 'Sands', in memory of Isla, will be gratefully received at Mashfords Funeral Service, Norfolk Lane, Cleethorpes DN35 8BB.

I fondly remember meeting Russell when we were apprentices together in the sixties at FA Would, we became good friends and knocked about together. He had the loudest singing voice I've ever heard. We lost contact in later years I always wondered how he was getting on. I feel sorry for his family and send my deepest sympathy. He was a great family man He will be sorely missed Dave Bruce

Fondest memories of Russell, especially during the family Christmas parties. I don't think I'd ever heard anyone sing so loud and with such passion until that one Christmas in the mid seventies (ish). My thoughts and sympathies are with you all and I'm so sorry for your loss x
