Lifelong companion of Alan, guardian for many years of Stephen and a friend to many.
Eddie was over the years an entertainment extroadinaire.
Also known as vocalist Eddie Sands (once billed as Alma Cogan's Teenage Prodigy) he also ran her fan club to keep her memory alive.

He served for many years as a nurse in Psychiatry and General Nursing in all the local hospitals.
He helped many people with his advice as a Samaritan at the Darlington branch.
A service of Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday 10th March at 11.30 am in the Bluebell Chapel at Stockton-on-Tees Crematorium followed by interment at Oxbridge Cemetery Stockton.
Friends please meet at the Crematorium.
Family flowers only but any donations in lieu, if desired can be made to the PDSA (a collection box will be available at the Crematorium).
