William LeslieHALESBill sadly passed away on Friday 6th June 2025, aged 91 years.
Husband to Rita for 69 years and father of Richard and David. Grandfather to Gareth, Daniel, Andrew, Stephen, Rhiannon and Rhodri, and Great Grandfather to Freya, Mali, Tilly and Dexter. Brother of Judy, and Uncle to Julie and Louise.
Bill was known by many through his love of classical music and the CBSO, his lay preaching at United Reformed Churches, his speaking on a range of subjects at Birmingham Midland Institute and ORMS, and for his lifelong support of Aston Villa.
A funeral service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at Digbeth-in-the-Field URC on Tuesday 8th July 2025 at 11:00 am.
