AlanHARDMANIt is with great sadness that the family of the late Alan Hardman announce his passing.

Sunrise: 5th June 1959
Sunset: 2nd January 2026
Aged 66

Alan was a proud and devoted father to Siobhan, Melissa and Paul, and a much loved grandad to his adored grandchildren.

He worked on the railway all his life and was known for his dedication, dry sense of humour and cheeky nature. Quiet but very funny, Alan loved socialising, enjoying a pint and a ciggie, and spending time in good company.

He enjoyed golf, but his greatest passion was Everton Football Club, which was part of who he was.

Alan is currently resting at Butterflies Rising Funeral Care, 37-39 Mill Lane, Liverpool, L12 7HY.

Alan's final farewell will take place on Friday 30th January 2026 at 12:30pm at Springwood Crematorium, followed by interment at Allerton Cemetery.

The family have asked for family flowers only please, but donations in Alan's memory can be made to Asthma and Lung UK

All enquiries: Butterflies Rising Funeral Care - 0151 345 4340.

Alan, what a lovely guy you were.

When we used to come to Liverpool all those years ago we really looked forward to seeing you. You were fun, happy, smiling, always talking about football

As we grew up and had occasional visits back, we looked forward to having a beer with you. You were still fun, happy, smiling, talking about football

Rest well dear cousin xx
