He had a fun and action-packed life, from working on the Atlantic Convoys in WW2 then on a number of merchant ships until 1952 when he opened a barbershop in St Thomas, Exeter which continued until he retired in his 70s.
Always a lover of outdoor field sports, wildlife and his precious dogs.
He will always be remembered for his cheeky sense of humour and practical jokes.
He passed away peacefully at Woodhayes in Exeter on 15th February 2026, aged 99 years.
Funeral service to be held at St Paul's Chapel, Exeter & Devon Crematorium
on Monday 9th March at 11am.
