It was with incredible sadness that I learnt of the all too premature passing of James. Despite not having seen each other for some years, James was and always will be a great friend, a friendship forged during great times as we started out on our Policing careers in Woolwich together. Not only did we work together, but we lived together at Maurice Drummond Section House and socialised together too. Where you found 1 of us 3 (James, John (Moz) or I) You’d generally find the other 2 as well. They were special times James was a truly great man. Witty, intelligent, reliable, loyal and a great friend. James’s love for his family resonated with me even then! James beamed with pride as he introduced us to Victoria, Hayley and John. He was such a proud ‘Big Brother’. As happens so often, our lives and our priorities changed and we gradually saw less and less of each other until regrettably we eventually lost touch. My sincerest condolences to Diana, Cyril, Victoria, John, Karina, Josh, Mika, Kimi and Jasper.
