I didn’t see Ingrid very regularly but whenever I did she was great fun, warm, compassionate and open hearted. She always had a big smile on her face and a sparkle in her eyes. There was no ‘edge’ to Ingrid, she was straightforward, genuine and sincere. It was always so very easy and such a pleasure to be in her company.
I was completely in awe of Ingrid when several years ago, she underwent treatment and surgery. She was resilient and incredibly brave. Ingrid was also positive and optimistic despite everything and invariably thinking of others.
This world definitely needs more Ingrid’s, she was such a beautiful soul and she will always be remembered with lots of love and affection.
Vonny xx
