Charles BarryHUGHESCharles 'Barry' Hughes passed away peacefully on 27th April 2026, aged 92, at home with his family.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Charles will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He lived a long and full life marked by kindness, wisdom, humour and devotion to his family.
His memory will be treasured always by his family and friends.
Charles' funeral will be held in the Willow Chapel, Bretby Crematorium, on Friday 29th May 2026 at 14:30pm.
Following the service all are welcome to share more memories with refreshments at The Wheel, Burton Road, Midway, Swadlincote DE11 0DH.
In memory of Charles, all donations received will be sent to benefit Cancer Research UK.
