The obituary notice of Lynda Anne JACKSON

Lynda was without doubt the most respected musician in school with her outstanding skill of playing the clarinet and her beautiful singing. Her musical excellence led her to be involved in many other activities throughout her career, inspiring many. I met up with her again when our daughters Katie and Laura were young and our friendship remained as we ended up living nearby, Lynda often calling in whilst walking her dog. When I went to her house I remember both the house and garden to be always immaculate.For many years we often met up for lunch sometimes with other friends for a catch up on old times. Since she moved away I have been in constant touch with her by phone and through WhatsApp supporting her through her illness. I was so very sad that I never managed to get to see her in the hospice as planned. I will remember Lynda as a good friend whose first love was always her family .
