Catrin will be remembered by me for her creativity, thoughtfulness, determination, humour, courage and her generosity. I feel it as a privilege to have known her and to have shared in some of the times of her life. In addition I shall always be grateful to Catrin, at a time when I was trying to make musical headway, for the suggestion that I enrol in Canolfan Cerdd William Mathias.I did and have continued; she is inseparably part of my learning to play an instrument and is also indelibly inked into my many happy memories of rowing in Mererid or Madryn.
