It was a very sad day to receive the notice of Philip’s passing. I had know Philip when I became a volunteer with the MSTC where his wife Christine was the Manageress. He was such a lovely man , always ready with a quip or funny retort. The world will be a sadder place without him. God bless you and Rest in Peace Philip. Anita.

The world is a sadder place without you. Such a lovely man and friend to everyone, but to me,, you were family! Even though this dreadful illness threw everything at you, you never lost your smile or wacky sense of humour. You remained brave and concerned for others, especially your beloved wife Chris, who devoted the last 2 years not just to caring for you, but helping you to still do things whilst you were still able to do them and to focus on what you could do, rather than what you couldn't. You were one in a million, you were loved by all of us and you will be missed xx
